There are some who bring a light so great into this world, and though they are with us for what feels like a fleeting moment, the amount of light they leave behind is so great that it remains forever.

In the merit of the life of Liel & the light she left behind, I have started a special initiative to be done daily by school children as an aliyah for her neshama. Something so simple yet so powerful that will make a daily impact in our’s and our children’s lives.

We created a beautifully designed flyer, we are encouraging families of school children around the country to wash hands upon waking and recite the Bracha “Netilas Yadaim” together.

When we wash our hands, we wash away the negative spiritual tumah of the night before and ensure our children start their day in a fresh, pure spiritual state.

May this simple yet powerful daily mitzvah of children all over the country stand in merit for the elevation of Liel’s neshama.

May we know no more sorrow and witness the coming of Moshiach and the resurrection of the souls speedily in our days.
